We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our friendly and proactive Polish team. This is a superb opportunity for a self-motivated person with an experience of technical support in the area of wood painting. This role, reporting to Commercial Director, can be based either in Warsaw or in Gdynia and covers the whole Poland.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
Managing the team of Technical Advisors to support our Sales department
Participating in optimization of products portfolio to meet customers’ needs
Training and educating of customers and other internal and external stakeholders
Collaborating with Marketing Department in creating product descriptions, systems, solutions and educational materials
Collaborating with R&D Department
Testing painting properties of new paints
Participating in consideration of complaints
Qualifications:
Very good knowledge of wood paints and their application methods is a must
Knowledge of production processes in companies in the woodwork industry is a must
Knowledge of production processes in the field of powder coating and liquid anti-corrosion will be an advantage
Technical Degree (master, engineer)
Very good English and Polish
Active, technically oriented, commercially minded
Proven people management skills
IT general knowledge: Windows, Office, ERP systems
Readiness to travel up to 50% of working time
