Responsibilities

Sales Management

Work out and implement agreed strategies (sales, merchandising & marketing) as well as campaigns in the dedicated region (North-West Poland)
Define and follow up on Area Managers and Service Technicians sales visits

Account Management

Work out and implement key account and account plan guidelines, tools and working methods involving relevant departments and colleagues
Keep regular contact with Top 20 builders merchants, support the Area Managers with higher level field work
Manage the assigned budget

Contribution to Velux-PL Strategy

Come up with suggestions on strategic issues for the company’s future together with other team members

Team Management

Manage the team (10 direct reports): develop, motivate and direct them to fulfil the strategy and future challenges
Spend at least three days per week (on average) on coaching and supporting team members
Ensure cost effective use of company resources for sales system (time, car, phone, and other cost related to sales system)

Requirements:

3 years of experience in leading a team is a must
Previous experience in building/materials sector would be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide members of the team is required
Resilience skills and stress resistance approach will be a strong asset
Ability to work alone as well as within the team
Open and positive personality with strong customer focus
Ability to gain clear agreement and commitment from colleagues and customers by persuasive arguments and serious, honest negotiations
Good English
Computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
CRM knowledge will be an advantage
