Responsibilities:
Participation in projects providing customs benefits and reducing risk (customs compliance) – Preferential determination and CBAM
Verification and implementation of customs processes in companies from the VELUX Group (EU and non-EU countries)
Preparation of applications for Binding Tariff Information
Performing pricing, customs valuation and verification of the origin of products
Direct support for individual business lines in the field of customs
Participation in customs controls and checks
Cooperation with tax authorities from EU countries
Preparation of instructions describing the customs process and enabling its implementation
Requirements:
Proven customs experience either within a Customs Authority, Customs broker, Consultancy or Importer/Exporter
Hands-on experience and knowledge of Customs IT tools
Audit/Internal controls experience
Strong ownership & accountability and a “CAN DO” attitude is a must
Strong collaborative and team player skills
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s Degree
